The late Fianna Fáil Councillor Noreen McGarvey has been remembered at her funeral mass this afternoon.
Councillor McGarvey passed away on Thursday night in the Donegal Hospice.

Elected to Donegal County Council in 2019, Cllr McGarvey has also served as secretary to former TD Pat the Cope Gallagher.
Tributes have been paid to her work ethic and contribution to Fianna Fail, with Tánaiste Michael Martin describing the late Councillor as a true community champion and a long-time and valued member of the party.

During her funeral mass at the St. Columba’s Church in Acres, Leckanagh this morning, Councillor McGarvey's daughter remembered her mother with a poem:
