Harsher jail sentences for those who attack Gardai will make no difference says ex-member

New legislation which could mean a 1 2 year jail sentence for anyone who attacks a Garda will do nothing to prevent it happening. That's according to former local Garda Gerry Murphy - while Sinn Fein's Martin Kenny says lack of resource and the morale issue still need to be tackled
