Local members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation and Fórsa have served the HSE with notice of industrial action in a dispute over staff shortages.
The row involves the INMO, Fórsa, Connect, Unite and the Medical Laboratory Scientists Association.
The action is to begin on 31 March, after a three-week notice period.
