Farmers and people living in rural parts of the North West are being urged to be on high alert over an apparent spike in illegal hunting and trespassing.
The Irish Farmers Association is warning that they have received reports of such activity from all over the country.
They further claim that farmers and landowners are deeply concerned and worried about their personal safety as a result of threats and assaults.
