Fine Gael have announced their latest candidate to contest the upcoming selection convention in Sligo.
Jim Beirne is a local business owner and farmer, and aims to contest a seat for Fine Gael in the Sligo Strandhill electorate area.
Mr Beirne has been outlining what he hopes to bring to the table if selected.
