The issue of public engagement from Donegal council candidates was raised at a panel discussion today.
The election count is taking place across the country today, and former Fianna Fáil TD and Tánaiste Mary Coughlan addressed the situation.

Public representatives had not attended a meeting in Donegal Town regarding the one-way system.
Ms Coughlan maintained that councillors had not been invited to the meeting.
