A Leitrim County Councillor is claiming that 'tensions are continuing to rise' in parts of the county including Drumshanbo as homes and businesses had to go long periods without electricity and running water.
The supply of these services have been impacted as a result of Darragh.
Overnight water restrictions are in place until further notice in parts to allow reservoir levels to recover.
Drumshanbo based Councillor Brandan Barry says the lack of such services is negatively impacting many people and as a result frustrations increasing
The Sinn Fein Councillor went on to add that everyone has a part to play in conserving water so as to ensure services are returned to all customers as soon as possible.
