There are calls locally to provide more training facilities for the Coolera/Strandhill GAA club.
A motion is set to be presented to Sligo County Council by Cllr Fergal Nealon to help facilitate support for the club.
As it stands, the current pitch in Ransboro has a huge demand upon due to a growing population in the sports team.
