Local projects to benefit from HSE Capital Plan funding.

The Government has announced today an investment of over 1 billon euro in the Country’s health and social care infrastructure.

The funding allocated for 2023 will progress and deliver a range of acute and community projects across the country.

A significant allocation of funding to deal with infrastructural risk, replacement of equipment including ambulances is also included.

A number of projects in Sligo, and South Donegal have been included In this plan.

“€16.64m is allocated to capital projects at Sligo University Hospital, while projects Ballymote, Cloonamahon, St John’s Campus, Markieviecz House, Nazareth House, St John’s Community Hospital and Tubbercurry has also received funding under the plan.

In Donegal 3.27 million euro has been allocated in Ballyhsannon for the CNU to replace existing beds at the Sheil Rock Nursing units.
