Minister of State Joe O'Brien says the a new Economic and Community plan for Sligo will play a key role in the development of the county.
The County Sligo Local Economic and Community Plan was launched within the last hour.
The project, known as Sligo 2030 – One Voice One Vision, was launched by Junior Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development Joe O Brien.
Speaking to Ocean FM News at the event, Minister O'Brien acknowledged the importance of this plan regarding Sligo's development over the next 6 years.

Also speaking to Ocean FM News, Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Michael Clarke, says the plan will be of massive benefit to Sligo, both in terms of investment and education.
