There is no doubt that Mona McSharry’s return to Sligo will be marked in some way.
That’s according to mayor of Sligo’s borough district, Cllr Tom MacSharry when asked about a potential homecoming for the Olympian.
Ms McSharry won a bronze medal last night in the 100m breaststroke, which was Ireland’ first in the pool in 28 years.
