Serious concern has been raised over the potential impact an incident of illegal dumping may have on a scenic area in Sligo.
Three barrels full of oil filters were discovered dumped in Ladies Brae over the weekend.

A major clean-up operation has since been carried out by Sligo County Council and it's understood that they are following a definite line of inquiry.
Local Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Healy says this isn't the first time the area has experienced illegal dumping.
