The Government has been criticised for carrying a motion without debate by a Donegal TD.
Deputy Thomas Pringle has questioned the balance of a motion on the ongoing situation between Israel and Palestine.

With the intensifying siege in Gaza continuing, Independent TD Pringle has labelled the move as “wrong”.

Speaking in the Dáil, Deputy Pringle says the nature of the one-sided motion is “an insult to the rest of the members of the house”.
In response, Taoiseach Leo Varadakar said that the Tánaiste has spoken to some opposition leaders on the issue and he believes, the motion is balanced:
