Progress is being made on the new community hospital due to open outside Letterkenny in just over a year's time.
The sod was turned on the site a year ago, and the hospital is on track to open in the first quarter of 2026.
Among the amenities at the new facility will be 110 beds for long and short stay care, a new nursing unit and rehabilitation for dementia care.
The project is being run at a cost of around 59m euro.
