There's a road in the Tubbercurry Ballymote Municipal District that is said to be flooded almost all year round, leaving residents at a serious inconvenience.
As a result, the local road at Lough NaSuil is completely blocked, resulting in the time in which it takes to access to a number of homes in the area has increasing significantly because an alternative route has to be used.
This is leaving the likes of home help and other services at a disadvantage.
It's been an issue for the past two years and there's increasing pressure on Sligo County Council to come up with a solution.
