A Donegal man has been appointed as the President of the Douzelage European Town Twinning organisation.
Bundoran's Shane Smyth will be President of the organisation until 2027, and becomes the Douzelage's 6th President in doing so.
Douzelage has a partner town in every country in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Mr Smyth outlined his aims for the group during his term as President.
