A prominent Sligo businessman has rubbished a new report from GeoDirectory which shows Sligo has the highest commercial vacancy rate in the country.
Sligo was found to have had the highest commercial vacancy rate in the country with just over fifth - 20.5% - of units vacant.

Donegal's figure was 18.2% while in Leitrim, the vacancy rate is 17.4%.
But Finbarr Filan of Sligo BID says the figures aren't a true reflection of what's happening on the ground:
