Last night's major security alert on the Sligo - Dublin train has led to renewed calls for a dedicated transport policing service.
A man, who had been travelling from Sligo, had a suspected shotgun on board.
He's not alleged to have threatened passengers but it led to teams of armed Gardaí, rushing to the scene at Connolly station - while the station was evacuated and services suspended.
