There's a danger to life as the North West under a Red wind warning this morning and the worst is yet to come.
Storm Eowyn is bringing damaging and destructive gusts of over 130 kilometres an hour and is already making an impact.
The red alert is in place for Sligo and Leitrim until 12 noon while Donegal is also now under a red warning as of 7am until 2pm.
A significant number of routes are impacted by fallen trees and loose debris - the entire N15 into Sligo is blocked entirely at Teesan and is totally impassable due to a fallen tree.

The public are advised to stay indoors for the duration of the storm.
