Gardai have issued warning to rural businesses in the North West over the presence of Organised Crime Groups operating in the area.
Owners and operations of businesses premises, particularly in rural areas of shops and filling stations are urged to be aware of current crime trends where filling stations have been targeted in the region.
The criminals are said to be after ATMs, cash alcohol and tobacco products.
Donegal Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Paul Wallace says there has been a resurgence of this type of crime in recent weeks:
