A Leitrim Councillor is warning the general public to be on the lookout for damaged water pipes over the coming days.
The end to the cold snap and thaw from sub-zero temperatures could see some water mains burst.
There are fears that damaged infrastructure could lead to reduced pressure and a diminished supply.
A reservoir interruption may cause supply disruptions to Drumshanbo and surrounding areas in Co. Leitrim.
Works are scheduled to take place until 10am on 12th January.
Customers are asked to leave 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
