Sligo Rovers academy graduate Owen Elding has signed his first senior professional contract with the club.
The Riverstown native originally signed for the Sligo Rovers U13 team back in 2019 from Arrow Harps.
He is the son of former Bit O’Red striker Anthony, who played with the club during two spells in 2013 and 2015, scoring 20 times in 43 appearances.
A student at Coola Post Primary School, he will complete his leaving certificate at the school whose alumni includes current teammate John Mahon.
