Among a season of many highlights for Sligo Rovers in 2024, the establishment of the Down Syndrome team ranks high among them.
The team - set up and coached by club Football and Social Responsibility Officer, Jamie Murphy, recently competed in the League of Ireland Down Syndrome Festival of Football in FAI Headquarters in Abbottstown.
