Sligo senior football champions Coolera/Strandhill have appointed former players John McPartland and Con O’Meara as joint managers for the 2024 season.
They succeed Enda Mitchell and McPartland’s brother Adrian, who guided Coolera/Strandhill to the Owen B Hunt Cup in 2023 – their first senior championship title since 2005.
McPartland and O’Meara, both distinguished former county players, were team-mates on the club championship winning Coolera side of 05.
John Mc managed Owenmore Gaels in recent seasons – while O’Meara has been working with the ATU Sligo Sigerson and Freshers football squad over the past couple of years.
