Sligo Rovers have signed defender Charlie Wiggett from Newcastle ahead of the new SSE Airtricity Premier Division season.
The 21-year-old, who also had spells at Chelsea and Swindon Town, will be seen as cover for the injured John Mahon.
Wiggett has joined on a one-season deal.
