Luke Pearce has joined Sligo Rovers on loan from English Championship side Cardiff City.
The 20-year-old will be at the Showgrounds until the end of the current League of Ireland season.
A striker, Pearce joined Southampton in 2020 after beginning his football career at Walsall.
Pearce, a former Republic of Ireland under 19 international netted an impressive seven goals in just 11 Premier League 2 appearances for Saints last season.
Pearce, who's grandfather is from Sligo has also had loans in non-League with Torquay United, Weston-super-Mare and Dover Athletic.
