There has been cause for celebration at Sligo AC this week, as John McDermott returned a haul of medals for Ireland at the European Masters Indoor Championships in Poland last week.
McDermott took gold in the Men's 400m (and set a European record in the process), the Pentathlon, and the 60m hurdles.
He also took bronze in the 4x200m relay - which is not bad by any means for a man who has just turned 80 years of age.
John has been looking back on an eventful week with Ocean FM Sport this afternoon.
