Mickey McCann's Donegal made it two wins from two in this year's Allianz Hurling League Division 2B with a two-point victory over Sligo at Markievicz Park on Sunday.

Sligo mounted a strong fightback in the second half but could not make the numerical advantage count after red cards to Donegal's Declan Coulter and Seán McVeigh.

Patrick Foley, who recently declared for Sligo from his native club Clarinbridge also received his marching orders from referee Cayman Flynn.

Sligo will rue several missed chances throughout the contest with Richie Ryan scoring five points, while Davin Flynn raised the white flag on six occassions for the victors.
