The new Sligo-Leitrim Junior League season kicked-off yesterday, with opening day wins for Carbury, Ballymote Celtic, Arrow Harps, Ballisodare United and Strand Celtic in the Super League.
Cartron United, Cliffoney Celtic, MCR, Merville United and Coolaney United all managed Premier League wins.
In the Donegal league, Donegal Town lost out after a penalty shootout to Cappry Rovers in the Brian McCormick Cup area final.
