Sligo's Mona McSharry swam to 6 gold medals at the Irish Short Course National Championships this weekend held in Lisburn. McSharry was the only swimmer of the meet to break the 2 minute mark as she claimed her 6th medal in the 200m Freestyle Final on Sunday. The Marlin swimmer broke 6 national records over the past days including 2 25 year old records held by Michelle Smith in both the 50m and 100m Freestyle.
