Action continues in the FBD League this evening

Mayo and Galway go head-to-head in the Connacht FBD League this evening.

It will be the second of three games in just five days for both counties, after tonight’s game was rescheduled from last Sunday’s postponement.

Throw-in in Castlebar’s MacHale Park this evening is at 7.30pm.

After tonight, the Tribesmen turn their attention towards Sunday’s meeting with Leitrim in Clonbur.

Leitrim go into that game on the back of an encouraging draw with Mayo on Wednesday.

Boss Benny Guckian says he will continue to use these games as an opportunity to get a look at his extended squad…

Sligo have no game this weekend. Their next outing is an away tie against Leitrim next Wednesday.

They suffered a heavy defeat to Roscommon in Kiltoom midweek, and boss Cathal Corey says that has shown them how much work they still have to do, though he admits there were positives from that match…
