Over ten years ago Alan Costello made the decision to move from his native club of Balla in Mayo to Coolera/ Strandhill.
Soon after, the once Mayo inter county footballer donned the black and white after a call up from Kevin Walsh.
Costello went on to play in two Connaught finals for Sligo, also winning Division 4 and 3 titles.
Speaking on the Ball Talk podcast, Costello looks back on the move and his fond memories of playing with Sligo.
