There was disappointment for the EJ Sligo All-Stars men's basketball team on Sunday evening when they lost their Division 1 League Cup quarter-final to Dublin Lions 93-89.
The All-Stars trailed by three points at half-time but produced a strong third quarter to regain the lead - and with just four minutes remaining in the final quarter, the All-Stars led by 12 points (86-74).
However, they would manage just three more points in the game as the Lions came storming back to clinch victory and set up a semi-final meeting with Tolka Rovers.
