There was disappointment for the EJ Sligo All-Stars on Saturday night in Cork when they were beaten 73-64 by UCC Blue Demons in the semi-final of the President's Cup.
The full-time scoreline doesn't fully reflect the closeness of this contest as the All-Stars, while playing somewhat below their best on the night, had managed to close to within on point of their opponents in the dying moments of the game.
But a final flourish by Demons same them home by 9 points in the end.
