EJ Sligo All-Stars men's Superleague season for 2024 came to an end on Saturday night when they went down 104 to 84 against University of Galway Maree in their play-off quarter-final in Oranmore.
The All-Stars trailed by just a single point at the end of the first quarter but Q2 is where the game changed as the home established a 54-38 advantage.
The visitors were unable to close that gap in a meaningful way in Q3 and Q4 as Maree ran out decisive winners on the night.
