Mercy College Sligo secured back-to-back All-Ireland senior schoolgirls cup titles in Dublin on Wednesday with an exciting 35-27 victory over a gallant Naas Community College from Kildare.
Anna McDaniel was named MVP.
This was a repeat of last year's senior 'C' final and, as was the case 12 months ago, the Mercy were pushed all the way by their Kildare opponents who battled gamely throughout - and were level midway through the final quarter.
Mercy completed a national league and cup double in 2024 - and now they have made it back-to-back cup titles in 2025.
Team coach Louise Harte gave her reaction to Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan after Wednesday's win.
