ATU's Shauna Bocquet 8th in Paralympic final

ATU Sligo student Shauna Bocquet finished eighth for Ireland in Saturday morning's final of the women's T54 5000 metres at the Paris Paralympics.

Bocquet, who's a native of Craughwell in Galway, is a second-year Sport & Exercise Science student at ATU Sligo.

In Saturday's final, she clocked a time of 11:50.85.

This is the first of three paralympic events for the 20-year-old.
