Ballina AC athlete Dessie Burke ran a time of 01:13:40 to win the 2022 edition of the Tony McGowan Run in Drumshanbo on Sunday.
The run is held in memory of former Leitrim GAA Chairman Tony McGowan.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, 1,300 participants took part in the run in South Leitrim town.
It was the first time the half-marathon event took place in-person since March 2020 after being held virtually last year.
There was a strong local interest with North Sligo AC's Gary Higgins finishing runner-up to winner Burke with a time 01:14:13.
2020 winner Desi Foley of Sligo AC finished fourth with a time of 01:16:02.
Fellow Sligo AC athlete Heather Foley finished twelfth with 1:24:14 on the clock when she crossed the finishing line.
