Barry Doherty is stepping down as Kilcar senior football manager in Donegal after three years in charge.
He guided Kilcar to a senior league and cchampionship double in 2017 and they went unbeaten through Division 1 of the league this year, en route to the title. They also reached the All-Ireland Gaeltacht final in 2019
However, by their high standards, the 2019 championship was a disappointment for Kilcar as they were beaten by Gweedore in the county semi-final.
An update on Doherty's successor is expected at this Sunday's Club AGM in Towney (3pm).
