A battling defensive performance from Sligo Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on Friday frustrated Shamrock Rovers and earned Liam Buckley's side a 0-0 draw.
The home side dominated much of the game but wayward shooting, combined with some excellent defensive play from Sligo Rovers back five helped earn the visitors a share of the spoils. Goalkeeper Ed McGinty, in particular, made save after save as the 'home' Rovers were continually frustrated.
