Declan Bonner says he was able to take a number of positives from last weekend’s narrow defeat to Kerry in their league opener.

Sunday’s game throws-in at 2.30pm in O’Donnell Park, and is a double-header along with the Donegal-Derry National Hurling League tie, which throws-in at 12.30pm.

Meanwhile, Donegal County Board say that no restrictions will be in place for those travelling to Sunday’s game via Ballybofey.
Donegal County Council have given an update on the roadworks on the N13 between Kilross and Stranorlar at Tircallen and say the road closure will be in force from Friday at 7pm and the contractor will work to ensure that the culvert is fitted and the road is tarred prior to Sunday morning.
It is hoped that the road will then be fully re-opened to allow traffic to flow without restrictions on the road.
If the works are not completed by Sunday morning, the traffic coming from Ballybofey will be permitted to travel on one lane of the road without restrictions, while the diversion will remain in place for traffic coming from Letterkenny.
For traffic leaving the game in Letterkenny, the diversion will be reversed to allow traffic from the match to travel without restriction.
