Sligo's Brian Colsh finished fourth for Ireland in the repechage of the men's single sculls on Friday morning at the European Rowing Championships in Slovenia.
His time was 7mins 01.67 secs.
The result means he will contest the C/D final this weekend.
Colsh, who was a top 15 finisher last September at the World Rowing Championships in the Czech Republic, was hoping to make the A/B final in Slovenia.

However, in a top quality field, which included the three medallists from the Tokyo Olympics, the Ballymote native had to content himself with a place in the C/D final.
