Catron United FC lifted the season-ending Frank Kennedy Memorial Cup on Saturday night at Ray MacSharry Park in Cranmore with a 2-0 win over Carbury FC.
An Enda McGowan penalty in the first half - and a Donal Gallagher goal in the second - gave Cartron United the title to deny recently crowned Southern Hotel Super League winners Carbury a league and cup double.
It was a particularly sweet success for Cartron as the club has suffered four consecutive cup final defeats in recent seasons.
