Naomh Conaill's hold on the Dr Maguire Cup in Donegal came to an end on Saturday night as they were edged out of the Michael Murphy Sports senior football quarter-final by rivals St Eunan's in Ballybofey, on a final scoreline of 0-10 to 0-9.
Eoin McGeehin was the Letterkenny club's matchwinner deep in added time, at the end of an entertaining quarter-final contest at MacCumhaill Park.
Naomh Conaill, winners of the last two, four of the last five and having been in every final since 2017, are knocked out in Donegal thanks to Eoin McGeehin’s winning score for St Eunan’s - the only team to have beaten Naomh Conaill since 2019, now twice.
