Junior soccer club Cliffoney Celtic FC have set up a GoFundMe page to fix the club's ride-on lawnmower after it was vandalised in recent days.
Cliffoney recently spent €1500 on the lawnmower to maintain their pitch facilities at Mullaghmore - and to reduce the costs associated with bringing in outside contractors for the pitch upkeep.
The club is appealing to anybody who has information about the what happened to the machine to contact the Gardaí in Grange.
Now, the north Sligo outfit are trying to raise cash online to cover the cost of repairing the lawnmower - in advance of the start of the club's juvenile coaching on August 5th.
To date, €1,600 has been pledged online by club supporters and well-wishers.
Donations can be made here.
