Seamus Coleman says he hopes his return from a double leg-break this week serves as inspiration for his good friend, and Everton and Ireland team-mate James McCarthy to make a similar recovery.
The Killybegs man played a full 90 minutes in his first game back for the first team after ten months out in Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat of Leicester at Goodison Park.
McCarthy, meanwhile, faces a similar spell on the sidelines after suffering a double leg fracture in a recent game against West Brom.
