Despite not starting a league game for his club Everton yet this season, Seamus Coleman has been named in the Stephen Kenny's Republic of Ireland 24-man squad for this month's Nations Cup games against Scotland and Armenia.
Ireland will play the Scots in Glasgow on Saturday week, Sept 24th, followed by a home match against Armenia on Tuesday the 27th.
The squad also includes Birmingham City striker Scott Hogan and there's also a recall for Robbie Brady for the first time since March 2021, following his recent good form with Preston North End.
