Leitrim hosts the annual Connacht convention this evening.
Leitrim’s Gerry McGovern will be elected as president of the Connacht Council, having served three years as vice-president.
Sligo’s John Murphy will take over as vice-president.
The event gets underway at 6.30pm at the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon.
