Two Sligo-Leitrim players were part of the Connacht squad who won the FAI Youth Interprovincial title in Donegal for 2024.
Jayden Reynolds from St John's FC and Paul McAteer from Merville Utd, both students at Summerhill College in Sligo, were part of the Connacht squad.
Connacht lost their opening game to Leinster on Friday evening 4-1 - however that result was subsequently overturned after it emerged that Leinster had fielded an inelligible player.
Connacht were awarded a 3-0 win.
They beat Ulster 3-1 on Saturday - before losing 1-0 to Munster on Sunday morning.
However, the six points gathered from the wins over Ulster and Leinster ultimately proved enough for Connacht to clinch the title.
