Dean Clancy wins European Gold after no-show by opponent

Sligo welterweight boxer Dean Clancy is the new European Under-22 Champion at light-welterweight, after winning Thursday afternoon's Gold Medal final without throwing a punch.

Clancy's Israeli opponent, Ahmad Shtiwi, was a no-show, and the judges awarded the contest to the Sligoman.
